My name is Janet McCarthy and I am a San Diego Realtor working with buyers, sellers and investors. I have a bachelor of Arts degree in communications (CSUSM) and 2 AA degrees - Liberal Arts and Sciences and General Studies - Palomar College.
I studied real estate appraisal and passed the exam in 2003. I became a licensed Realtor in 2008 working as a single agent and a team agent and have sold over 150 homes. My first client was my mom who I helped buy a short sale property and was able to negotiate a $26,000 price reduction for her. In 2011
I received my Broker Price Opinion (BPO) certificate and have valued a dozen bank owned properties from Rancho Santa Fe custom homes to 2 bedroom condos in Vista.
I am a certified VA housing specalist and love helping all Military - Active duty, Retired and disabled become home owners. I am proud to say I helped a military owner sell his home while he was in Afganastan. I am a certified real estate negotiator and in 2015 I became a real estate broker.
Currently I am an associate broker with Allison James Estates & Homes I also have 15 years of corporate accounting experience at the USPS.
